Privacy policy
Last updated: September 1, 2026
ArticleRelease.health (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates https://articlerelease.health. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
ArticleRelease.health is an educational health, medicine, and pharmacy knowledge website. We do not offer user accounts or login. Most visitors browse anonymously.
Contact: contact@articlerelease.health
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
Newsletter email address — if you subscribe through our newsletter form or reading prompt, we collect your email address to send updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Information collected automatically
Analytics data — we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how the site is used. This may include pages visited, approximate location (country/region), device and browser type, referral source, search terms on our site, and interactions such as calculator use, article translation, and streak-related engagement events.
Server and security logs — our hosting and API infrastructure may log technical data such as IP address, request time, and browser type for security and reliability.
Information stored on your device (localStorage)
Some features save data in your browser on your device. We do not receive this data on our servers unless you separately submit it (for example, your email for the newsletter):
- Newsletter subscriber status — email and subscription date, so the site can show that you are subscribed on this device.
- Reading subscribe prompt — whether you dismissed the prompt and when.
- Daily streak / engagement — streak counts, last active date, and which health tools you have used. This is for on-device engagement only.
Health calculator inputs
Body metrics and nutrition calculator inputs (such as height, weight, age, and activity level) are processed in your browser to show results. We do not store your full calculator inputs in our database. When you run a calculator, we may send limited analytics events to GA4 (for example, which tool was used and summary result categories).
Article translation
If you translate an article into another language, your request is sent to our API, which processes article text to generate a translation so we can deliver the content you requested.
3. How we use information
We use information to operate and improve the website and health tools; send newsletter emails to subscribers who opted in; measure site performance and content usefulness through analytics; maintain security and prevent abuse; and respond to contact or support requests.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK visitors)
Where applicable, we rely on consent (newsletter subscription and non-essential analytics where required) and legitimate interests (site security, basic analytics, and improving educational content).
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us run the site, including Google Analytics (Google LLC) for website analytics, hosting and infrastructure providers, and translation or AI service providers when you request article translation. These providers process data as needed to provide their services.
6. Data retention
Newsletter emails are kept while your subscription is active and as needed for legal or compliance purposes after unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings and our configuration. localStorage data remains on your device until you clear browser storage or we change or remove the feature.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can unsubscribe from emails, clear local browser data to remove streak or subscriber information stored on your device, and block analytics using browser settings, privacy extensions, or Google’s opt-out tools.
To exercise privacy rights, contact us at contact@articlerelease.health.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies through Google Analytics to measure traffic and usage. GA4 may set first-party cookies in your browser. You can control cookies through your browser settings. We do not currently use advertising cookies for targeted ads on this site.
9. Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
10. International visitors
If you access the site from outside your home country, your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws.
11. Third-party links
Our articles and pages may link to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the revised policy.
